“Make It Right” is the third in a series of five singles by UK duo Tendaji/Donje, takes the live instrumentation of a late 1970s soft rock vibe and heads straight for the dancefloor. Plus the big drums, big guitars, robot vocals and a tough groove of “Pay For Me”, what more could you want.
A two-man production and song writing team based in Suffolk on the East coast of England, Tendaji/Donje are a well-oiled music making machine. This pair of multi-instrumentalists are huge music fans and draw influence from lots of styles and genres - from Krautrock to Afrobeat, Yacht Rock to Hip Hop, Tendaji/Donje write, produce, compose, engineer and mix elements from multiple genres into their unique melting pot creating ‘grown-up’ dance music that makes your head nod, your feet tap with a host of catchy melodies and hooks that you’ll be singing all day!
Working together for over a decade, Tendaji/Donje start all their projects by recording and sending ideas and musical parts to each other whilst they work in their individual studios - The Wet Room and Studio Gimlet. Using a host of analogue and vintage equipment, the pair create authentic grooves and unusual sounds, preferring to record real instruments for dance music. No off the shelf loops or samples here but groovy beats, vintage synths, heavy percussion and slick production make these songs ready for the sound systems of the world. From Balearic bars to convertible cars and everywhere in between, Tendaji/Donje bring the heat.
